Market Analytics Intern
Imagine a future where you help with the buildout of market analytics tools and research to support the Americas team’s ability to better manage merchant exposure
Join us in this role where you’ll work closely with stakeholders across the group in areas of research, model development, and technology. The team supports the several teams within Revenue and Growth with analysis that ranges from statistical to fundamental. The team also builds, deploys, and maintains tools across multiple technological platforms.

You’ll be part of Revenue and Growth where you, together with your colleagues, will establish and manage projects related to new research, trading model development, and technology deployment, in support of the larger goal of better managing market risk. This can be the evaluation of short-term trends, development of macro views, and building tools or dashboards across the decision-making timeline. As a team, we provide insights and research to support several teams across the organization. We work in a collaborate environment with several different departments, which creates opportunities to learn about different areas of the business.
You’ll play an important role in:
- supporting the buildout of additional models and components across the analytical spectrum
- working with stakeholders to assist with data-related issues and maintaining the productionized models
- supporting all areas of analytics e.g., fundamental, quantitative, and transmission.
To succeed in the role, you:
- will be pursuing a degree in a quantitative field, engineering, finance, economics, etc.
- will have a desire to learn about power markets and trends in the electricity sector
- preferably have programming skills.
